This programme intends to provide for the training of personnel for the business sector to undertake
entry and mid-level administrative roles to meet business administration and technological service needs.

Successful graduates will be able to work in a business administration and/or technology role carrying out routine operations under limited supervision. The programme is suitable for people who wish to work in the business administration and technology sectors. 

Graduate Outcome Statement:
Learners who successfully complete the programme will be awarded the New Zealand Certificate in Business (Administration and Technology) Level 4 Specifically, graduates will be able to:

  2. Process comprehensive data, produce detailed information, and perform detailed financial calculations for business purposes
  3. Maintain administrative systems and processes and make recommendations for improvements to meet business needs

  5. Select and apply customer service techniques to consistently meet stakeholder expectations
  6. Behave professionally and ethically and in a socially and culturally responsible manner, and apply personal and interpersonal skills in administration roles, to support the performance of the entity


This programme intends to provide for the training of personnel for the horticultural industry (fruit production sector) to undertake entry level roles for fruit production horticultural operations. 

Successful graduates will be able to work carrying out routine operations under limited supervision; specifically, for fruit production within the horticultural industry. 

Graduate Outcomes

GPO 1: Work as an effective member of a team, including communication and interaction with team members and colleagues relevant to a role in the horticulture sector.

GPO 2: Carry out routine seasonal fruit production tasks.
